Sir Alex Ferguson missed Manchester United's win over Brentford at the weekend and is now expected to be absent from the Europa League clash against Fenerbahce on Thursday
Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to miss a second match in succession after seeing his contract as a club ambassador torn up.
After missing the Red Devils' win over Brentford at the weekend in the aftermath of the news to attend Celtic vs Aberdeen, a prior engagement, Ferguson will also miss the clash against Fenerbahce. The veteran will not make the trip to Turkey where ex-United boss Jose Mourinho awaits. Current United boss Erik ten Hag paid tribute to Ferguson when he was asked about the decision to axe Ferguson from his role. The Dutchman believes it will have an impact on the club but maintains he believes the ex-Aberdeen boss will still be available for advice.
