Mason Greenwood’s time on loan with Getafe is at an end Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has indicated that he will not extend his stay at Getafe. The 22-year-old played his final game for the Spanish club on Sunday as the they were beaten by Mallorca in their last match of the La Liga season, making it five defeats in a row.
In a message on Instagram on Sunday evening, Greenwood wrote: ‘Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season. ‘Thank you for making me feel welcomed and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my teammates and club. ‘A bitter sweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best.
