Gardaí are appealing to motorists with dashcams who may have driven through the Castle Park area at 11pm on Wednesday night to come forward
Gardaí in Galway are currently on the hunt for a gunman following reports of shots fired in the city on Wednesday night.
Gardaí have launched an appeal for witnesses after the late-night incident, urging those who may have witnessed the shooting or who may have been in the area to come forward.Their appeal for information focuses particularly on motorists driving through or around the Castle Park area and who have dashcam footage to contact Gardai in Millstreet.
"Gardaí responded to reports of a shot fired at a residence at approximately 11.00pm in which criminal damage was caused to the property. No persons were injured in the incident. "Anyone who was in Castle Park and the surrounding areas on Wednesday 1st May between 10:30pm – 11:30pm and who may have camera footage is asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
