They found that starting Friday heavy rain and frequent downpours will return, with temperatures going down from highs of 27 degrees.
“Scattered heavy showers will develop this afternoon and evening, most frequent over the north, west and midlands. Moving into the night, any lingering showers in the north and west will clear early, leaving largely dry conditions with clear spells and patches of mist and fog. Mostly cloudy with scattered showers continuing, heavy at times on Friday night. Some mist and fog patches developing too in light to moderate south to southeast winds. Mild with temperatures not falling below 13 to 16 degrees.
Sunday, 18 June Sunday will be another showery day with sunny spells. Some of the showers will be heavy and isolated thunderstorms and spot flooding will be possible. Highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees with a light to moderate southeasterly wind.
