Former RTE broadcaster Mary Kennedy has opened up about the existential questions that come with aging, and how therapy has helped her through her good and bad days

I struggled when my marriage ended and now it's got to do with turning 70," Mary said.
"I never thought about such things before but since the beginning of the year, it has become very real. At times, I have struggled." "She was petrified that I'd do something wrong on the night of the Eurovision and I'd be pilloried. Her other worry was that it would be a huge success and I'd get a big head," continuing jokingly "We had to widen all the doors in RTÉ!”.
