The mum, who is a teacher, was stuck trying to tackle the difficult maths problem for an hour

While school might be only a memory for most adults, many children might be forced to try to remember old knowledge to help their kids with homework.

After thinking about the question for a full 60 minutes, the mother took to the online forum Reddit to ask for help, revealing that she works as a teacher and thinks she should have been able to answer the question, the Mirror reports."The teacher asked for an answer as well that includes the numbers. I'm so stuck. This is probably so easy, but after an hour, I'm at my wits' end! It's a second-grade maths that we can't figure out.

In a bid to help, Reddit users took to the comment section to try to work out the equation but also struggled, one asked: "Is 0 one digit or no digit?" One more user asked: "The statement just says it must use all of these numbers, doesn’t that mean you could use all of those and others as well?" But then, another came through with the answer - and an explanation showing their working. They said: "800 + 60 + 2=862."
