The 1975 frontman, 33, was discussing speculation that the Gallagher brothers might be about to reform theLiam claimed that Noel called himLiam put Noel’s apparent request to his Twitter followers, asking whether he should get the band back together or, in his own words, ‘f*** him off’.

‘What are Oasis doing? Can you imagine being in potentially the coolest band in the world, and not doing it because you’re in a mard with your brother?’Matty spoke of Oasis when asked if he was proud of The 1975’s achievements – they’ve just released new album Being Funny in a Foreign Language. ‘They’re men of the people and they’re sat around in Little Venice and Highgate, crying over an argument with their brother.
