Maura Derrane has suffered a nasty injury this week, but none of her radio listeners were any the wiser as she soldiered on through her last show on Monday.
She powered through and headed into RTÉ, where she decided to get an ice pack and take some painkillers as her wrist was still in pain. Sharing how she suffered the break, she said it was a simple accident that could have happened to anyone and joked that she was having a "lovey" start to her summer. Oliver Callan shared his thanks to Maura for keeping his show on the road while he was on his holidays.
