Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning for all of Ireland as temperature could possibly plummet to -10C tomorrow night.

However, temperatures could plunge to as low as -10C in some areas on Monday morning, according to a Met Eireann temperature forecast model shared on Twitter by Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather. A snow warning has also been issued for three counties in the east on Saturday as Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare are forecast to be blanketed with snow overnight.

A third Status Yellow snow warning is in place for Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow from 11pm on Saturday until noon on Sunday, reading: “Snow showers will lead to accumulations in places, most substantial over high ground."
