Met Eireann have issued a fresh weather warning for a number of counties as they expect snow accumulations overnight - check whether your county may be affected
Temperatures have plunged below freezing this week, with ice and frost galore across the country.
Met Eireann issued the warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Munster, and Roscommon. It comes into effect from 8pm this evening and expires at noon on Thursday.• Hazardous travelling conditionsAs well as the snow and ice warning, Met Eireann has also issued a Status Yellow low temperature warning for the entire country, writing: "Very cold with widespread frost and icy stretches.
