Weather maps have indicated that parts of Ireland will see snow soon while Met Eireann have pinpointed when temperatures will plunge after a mild start to the month

In their overview for the week ahead, Met Eireann wrote: "A good deal of dry weather this week, though cloud cover will increase with patches of rain and drizzle at times. However, rainfall amounts will be minimal. Temperatures will be close to normal." Monday 11th November A foggy or misty start in some parts today but any mist and fog will clear through this morning. It will be a dry and bright day with good spells of sunshine. Fresh with highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in a light variable breeze. Staying dry tonight with clear spells. Mist and fog will form, turning dense in some areas with a touch of frost. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees, a touch colder in some inland areas, in light variable winds.
