Met Eireann have predicted thundery downpour and heavy weather conditions for the next couple of days, as the fine weather subsides.
Met Eireann have forecast thundery downpours tonight and into tomorrow, breaking the spell of fine weather than was given over the last few days. Tonight Cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle will continue to push eastwards early tonight followed by further showers, some heavy, with isolated thunderstorms possible, especially in the northwest, with a chance of some spot flooding.
Tomorrow Mainly cloudy with outbreaks of rain moving over the southern half of the country at first tomorrow Saturday, some of it heavy with thunderstorms possible, but drier further north with brighter intervals and scattered showers.
