Met Éireann has predicted a positive change in the weather as temperatures are set to soar to 23 degrees from today.Tuesday will start out rather cloudy with spots of drizzle in certain parts of the country, with sunnier conditions in the east and south set to become more widespread through the morning.Wednesday will also be rather cloudy overall with a little drizzle on northern and western coasts at times and the best of any sunnier weather in the east and south.
Thursday will start out rather cloudy, however, the cloud is set to be replaced with sunny spells throughout the day as temperatures start to rise. Temperatures on Thursday will reach as high as 24 degrees in the southeast of the country with light northwest winds keeping temperatures at around 20 degrees along the west and north coastal counties.
After that, it will become hotter"day on day" with the dry and sunny weather expected to stay through the weekend. Current indications suggest temperatures will rise to 22 to 24 degrees widely and even higher in non-coastal areas by the end of the weekend.
