Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann says temperatures to drop as low as -2C with frosty nights in store
Ireland is set to be hit by bitterly cold overnight conditions later this week as temperatures dip as low as -2C.
Met Eireann's forecast reads: "Rain will spread northwards to most areas tonight, with some heavy falls developing for southern and eastern coastal counties, leading to spot flooding."Blustery easterly or variable winds for a time near southern and eastern coasts, will become light to moderate northwesterly everywhere by morning. Lows of 1C to 4C."
"Light to moderate northwest breezes, will be fresh to strong and gusty on northern and eastern coasts. Lows of 1C to 4C with some frost in places.
