Donegal All-Ireland winner Eamon McGee says Michael Murphy's return will be a huge lift to Jim McGuinness' squad
Jim McGuinness has tempted his 2012 All-Ireland winning captain back to inter-county football almost exactly two years on from his retirement.
Glenswilly man Murphy, who was involved in Jim Gavin’s Football Review Committee will now have an opportunity to play inter-county football under the new rules in 2025. “It will be a huge lift for the young bucks in the panel to see him, play with him and learn from him. “You are going to need to watch Murphy. It is going to free up the likes of Oisin Gallen. Paddy McBrearty is going to be knocking about.”
