Mick Schumacher's sole focus will be on F1 in 2023 as he tries to work his way back onto the grid next year.
The son of the seven-time World Champion, Michael, has had the pause button pressed on his Formula 1 career after Haas opted not to renew his contract for what would have been a third season with the team.
But, while many drivers can fall from Formula 1 and land with a big bump, Schumacher found a safety net in the form of Mercedes, who moved quickly to bring him into the Silver Arrows family and serve as a reserve driver to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. “If you get the taste of the best there is, you’re not going to settle for anything else and so definitely I’ll be sticking around in the paddock.”
