The film has received widespread praise for it’s realistic action which involved the actors learning how to fly a jet, and for Teller, it led to jet fuel appearing in his blood.

Teller is somewhat of a good luck charm for director Joseph Kosinski, with the star appearing in his 2017 firefighter drama ’Only The Brave’, and Kosinski lobbied for Teller to be cast in the film.
