The broadcaster learned that one of her "dearest friends" has sadly passed away, and while taking in some of the beauty of nature, she paused to share some word of mourning.

"And, you know it made me think 'why is it in life, that the nicest people seem to go to heaven way too early?'"Miriam did not use the colleague's name in her video, but her community of friends, fans and followers reached out with a wave of support.Another added: "It’s beyond cruel Miriam, we loved her so much. She was the glue that held us together. Our rock, our friend, a constant source of support and love. I’m struggling to process the sheer cruelty of it.
