Watch: Brilliant moment Irish band brings a girl from the crowd on stage to sing Shallow

Here's the brilliant moment an Irish wedding band picked a girl from the crowd at one of their gigs to come on stage and sing Oscar- winning song Shallow from A Star is Born.

Popular wedding band Catch 22 were in Danny Byrne's pub in Mullingar on Friday night last performing and decided to do a bit of an impromtu duet - completely unplanned and not rehearsed - with a lucky girl in the crowd. Lead singer Karl Lesley called up Malahide native Sinead Walshe to help him sing the now iconic duet by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, and the pair brought the house down."Friday night I got to witness one of my best friends live with his band! No joke this band are incredible. You can’t help but sing along and just have a ball.. check them out - Catch 22.

She added: "Next thing he pulls me up to perform with him - even though I nearly died It was so fun. Thank you for getting me up and always pushing me to sing more and more."
