Leave it to the Legislature to make laws.” Wainer Apter, 41, described the event as a mock funeral for the landmark Roe v. Wade opinion after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of a partial birth abortion ban. She said it was her Harvard professor who made attending the event mandatory as part of her final law class for him that year.
Wainer Apter was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2008. She said her time as an associate at New York-based Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, where she was part of the Supreme Court and appellate practices, gave her a good grounding on state and federal cases and she developed an expertise quickly on a wide range of topics.
