Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy tweeted on March 6 that he had talked to SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who provided the country with Starlink terminals that offer internet access. “I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds,” Zelenskiy said.

Separately, Russia will no longer supply rocket engines to the United States, which are used by a joint-venture space company owned by Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Dmitry Rogozin, director general of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, said on March 3 on state television that such exports would be halted.
