One lucky punter in Dublin has become Ireland's latest millionaire after bagging the top prize of €1million in Wednesday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw.

The winning numbers in the Wednesday, 27 September Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 20, 25, 33, 38, 43, 45 and the bonus was 26.Meanwhile, a previous winner from the Lotto Plus 1 draw two weeks ago, Wednesday 13 September, claimed his €1million prize on Thursday at Lotto HQ. He explained his initial reaction when he logged into his online account: "I saw the email on my phone telling me to check my ticket while I was out and about. I looked at it and was in total shock – I then had to drive home and I swear I almost crashed the car!

He added: "She eventually took the phone and checked the ticket while I called out the numbers. It was only then that she believed me and the two of us were sat there counting the zeros making sure it was definitely real."
