A new B&Q store is preparing to open in a town centre next week after months of construction and preparation come to an end. at the Maltings Retail Park in Newark.
, and has created up to 30 jobs for the local area ahead of its opening. The site will have a wide range of products available for shoppers, as well as other services like home delivery and click and collect. Speaking previously, a B&Q spokesperson said: “We look forward to opening our doors and supporting the people of Newark with all their home improvement needs.” Other B&Q stores across the county include the stores in Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield, Worksop, Eastwood as well as Nottingham Netherfield and Nottingham Riverside.
In addition to B&Q, the retail park, which opened in 2022, is also home to a M&S food hall, Costa Coffee and Greggs. There is also several high-powered EV chargers for electric vehicles at the park which were installed at the site by Osprey Charging Network.
