Abington soon became known as ‘celebrity estate’ as Ronan and Yvonne Keating, Robbie and Claudine Keane, broadcaster Marty Whelan, Cranberries star Dolores O’Riordan and Westlife’s Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern moved into the suburban enclave.
