Goals from Declan Rice and Jack Grealish gave England a 2-0 victory in Dublin
Gardai made a number of arrests following Saturday's clash between the Republic of Ireland and England at the Aviva Stadium.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that a number of arrests were made following what they described as a "minor disturbance" after the game. It is not known if those arrested were Ireland or England fans or a mixture of both. England fans gathered at the Grand Canal Hotel ahead of the match, with Irish supporters packing out pubs close to the Dublin 4 stadium.
Rice won three senior caps for Ireland and fired England into an early lead in the 11th minute, which former Ireland Under-21 international Grealish added to 15 minutes later during a one-sided first half.
