Coverage of the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division has received another significant boost with the announcement that Off The Ball has secured an exclusive national radio deal with the League of Ireland. This agreement will see Off The Ball broadcast a minimum of 30 matches across the upcoming season, with at least 15 fixtures airing live on Newstalk. The broadcasts will feature comprehensive live commentary and in-depth post-match analysis.
Nathan Murphy and Stephen Doyle, both established commentators on Off The Ball, will share commentary duties throughout the season, providing fans with expert insights and engaging coverage. Listeners and viewers will have multiple opportunities to follow the action, as Off The Ball will stream live updates across its online channels and integrate match highlights and discussions into its flagship Newstalk evening show. Further enhancing its commitment to League of Ireland coverage, Off The Ball will dedicate resources to producing a weekly League of Ireland podcast, along with additional features and content surrounding the games. The new season kicks off on Friday, February 14th, with Shelbourne facing Derry City at Tolka Park. Off The Ball will be on-site for live coverage of this opening match.
