As a nation, we’re not great at sun care. It might be because we spend so much of the year under grey skies, getting soaked to the bone, wading through mud, you get the gist.so unless you are completely in the shade or indoors, chances are, you should be wearing sun protection.
The NHS states there’s no safe or healthy way to get a tan and having one doesn’t protect you from the sun’s harmful effects. But Parkdean’s study shows 32% have suffered a ‘t-shirt’ tan and 27% have had a flip-flop tan after suffering sunburn.
