A good move for Munich

Hosting the Games in 1972 brought massive infrastructural improvements and transformed Munich from a “million-people-village” into a global metropolis. In addition, most, if not all, of the former Olympic facilities are still in use, either as concert venues or as public sports and recreation facilities.

The Olympic Village was transformed into student accommodation.
