The public have been left outraged after a fake fundraising page was set up for the family of Clodagh Hawe.
The tragic story from August, 2016 once again gripped the nation this week after her heartbroken mum Mary Coll and sister Jacqueline Connolly appeared on Claire Byrne Live on RTE. Clodagh's sister Jacqueline urged the nation on Friday to not donate to any fundraising campaign's in their family's name."Please ignore this as Mam and I would never in a million years accept money from anyone on the back of our grief.Viewers flocked to Twitter to share their disgust at the fake campaign. One user said: "Absolutely disgraceful. As if ye haven't gone through enough. Hold your heads high. Let RTE deal with it.
