The Minister for Social Protection also hinted that a €560 Child Benefit lump sum paid to new parents could also be on the cards in the upcoming budget, set to be announced next month

Budget 2025 will be announced in only a few short weeks and the government have begun to finalise the measures that they will be rolling out.
