EXCLUSIVE: The Newstalk broadcaster, who worked at RTE for over 40 years, praised Doireann Garrihy for returning to 2FM after quitting last year
Former RTE star Pat Kenny has said it was “wrong” for the national broadcaster to stop presenters from working at rival stations – as he praised Doireann Garrihy for returning to 2FM .
Reacting to the news about Doireann's return, the Newstalk host said: "I think it should be the way. I think there should be total transferability - I have always said that. "It is an absolute dream come true to have my very own show. I cannot wait to put my own stamp on it, to rise at a reasonable hour and to be back with you, the listeners."
