New The Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty began his new role on the show tonight, as the nation tunes in to see a new era of the show being ushered in.Patrick's wife, actress Cat Deeley, and their two young sons James and Milo, are watching him host the live show from the home they shared in London.He got emotional as he wrapped up his opening speech, saying:"Before the border was drawn on this island, my grandad Kielty moved from Wexford up to County Down.
Referring to his beloved sons, he said: "There are two other Kielty brothers also watching tonight in London. way past their bedtime, who will now be able to say that their dad was lucky enough to be able to host this show." He then introduced his first guests of the night, Tommy Tiernan, Hector O'hEochagáin and Laurita Blewitt.
