While he is ready for his comeback on screen, Phillip Schofield cried over the devastation he experienced amid his scandal on This Morning .
Though he stepped back from the spotlight after leaving the breakfast show, Phillip Schofield was tipped to be working on a return to TV as sources close to him murmured earlier this year. On Tuesday , it was then revealed he had landed a job on Channel 5. "I've been cast away on a desert island completely on my own. All I have is camera gear, I can say whatever I want about whoever I want," he first says in the teaser clip. Before unveiling the impact the This Morning scandal had on his life: "It's my chance to tell my side of my story. I know what I did was unwise, but is it enough to absolutely destroy someone?"
Speaking about his new role, a source toldThe Sun: "Over the past few months Phil has had quite a few offers for various things - but has steadfastly turned them all down. This sort of challenge has always appealed to him though and after consulting with friends and family, he decided to go for it. It's all been top secret, and has been an incredibly quick turnaround in order to keep the news quiet.
