People who are deaf or hard of hearing could be eligible for additional financial support.
Deaf Awareness Week runs until May 12 and is an annual event aimed at promoting understanding and raising awareness on the challenges faced by people with hearing loss issues. According to the latest research from the Royal National Institute for Deaf People, some 12 million adults in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.
