Emergency services scrambled to Elmvale Street and made the tragic discovery just after 10am on Monday, August 26. Police Scotland confirmed they are treating the death as "unexplained", with an investigation now launched. It's understood there is one cop car at the scene, with an officer standing guard inside the building while two others are outside.A Police Scotland spokesperson previously told Glasgow Live: "An investigation is under way following the discovery of a woman's body within a flat in Elmvale Street, Glasgow."The inquiry is at an early stage and the death is being treated as unexplained. Officers remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing.
