A Dublin West councillor has called on people to ‘boycott’ shamed MMA star Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn premises as ‘people shouldn’t support him, his products or his premises.’

And the Dubliner’s former whiskey brand Proper No. 12 will no longer carry his name. McGregor sold his stake in the brand in 2021.
“So the backlash Conor McGregor is getting is significant - retailers and sponsors are reacting and long may it continue.” The pub chain has confirmed it has taken the shamed fighter's Forged Irish Stout off its taps at all of its seven boozers here in Ireland.A spokesman said: “Wetherspoon has taken the decision to remove the product, Forged Stout, in its pubs in ROI.”
