Senior staff at Rose & Grants, famous for their vegan square sausage, are asking for much-needed support from customers and fans to keep the much-loved cafe going.

The team behind a hugely popular cafe known for its famous vegan square sausage has launched a crowdfunder to help try to keep them going after they revealed the current owners "can't continue". Senior Staff at Rose & Grants on the Trongate took to social media to try to drum up support to help the beleaguered cafe.

"We need your help to save the vegan square sausage, our oat latte, the ultimate vegan bagel, the vegan special, our ultimate breakfast, the list goes on and on! READ MORE: Paisley cafe workers who totalled 100 years service let go without any notice awarded £40k The popular cafe hit the headlines back in 2016 after they started selling the plant-based version of the geometric comfort food after one of their workers came up with the idea while she was travelling in Australia and it's gone on to become one of their biggest hits.

But they added that with the help of customers, current manager Heather can take over the cafe and keep it going. To do so, she'll need funds to buy the equipment and retain the staff and the existing owners are helping her to achieve this.
