Shannon Boylan, a 23-year-old pregnant woman, has been charged with enhancing the ability of a criminal organization to launder money and remanded in custody. The charges stem from alleged activities between May 2021 and November 2022. Boylan is also facing charges related to money laundering through bank accounts and drug importation. She will appear in court again on January 16th.

Ms Boylan is further charged with two counts of money laundering via an AIB account between November 25, 2020, and November 16, 2022, and via a Revolut account between May 5, 2020, and January 16, 2021.
