Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe hailed his ‘fantastic’ side after their 0-0 draw with Watford in the Championship.

"We're creating plenty of chances, another 10 shots, four on target, the 'keeper has made some good saves."It wasn't for the lack of trying, we were fantastic all over the park.

"Just towards the end we got a little bit risky because we were trying to find that goal, a bit of desperation trying to find that goal. "We nearly left ourselves open a bit which I don't like, I know the lads are desperately trying to get not just a goal but three points for the fans.” Skipper Alan Browne had arguably the best chance of the game from a Preston perspective, seeing his volley saved by Hornets ‘keeper Daniel Bachmann.

Getting the no.8 in better positions has been something Lowe has been working on and admits it can be frustrating to once again come away with less than three points, given the chances his side had."We've been working with Alan to get in better goalscoring positions and I think he's been fantastic in doing that but again, you're up against a top quality team.
