Trooping the Colour's pomp and ceremony seemed to be a little too lengthy for one young royal, as Princess Charlotte appeared to get impatient during the event.
But a hot day watching the long ceremony may have been a little too much for the young princess as she appeared to question her great aunt Sophie Wessex on how much longer they had to sit through the event on Horse Guards Parade. A statement from Buckingham Palace about Trooping the Colour said: "His Majesty King Charles III will hold the appointment of Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiments of Household Division.
