As the world mourns the death of Liam Payne, the Daily Record has taken a look back at his first shows with his One Direction bandmates at two iconic Glasgow venues.
The singer is reported to have fallen from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires late last night. Since the news has broken, tributes have poured in for the former One Direction star.
Fresh from their third-place finish in the seventh series of The X Factor, the group performed at Campus and The Garage. As reported by Glasgow Live, these shows marked the first time the band had played together outside of the singing competition. With legions of fans lining up to see the boys perform, the two shows were unsurprisingly a busy affair. Playing in front of countless screaming fans, the group performed covers of hit songs such as Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and Viva La Vida by Coldplay.
Meanwhile, a photograph previously posted by the This Day in 1D History X account shows the five-piece during their performance at Campus. In the image, fans in the crowd can be seen holding up their BlackBerry phones and digital cameras.
