Plans to build over 100 new homes in Welton are back on the table, despite previously being rejected by West Lindsey District Council's Planning Committee.
Ward Councillor Diana Rodgers previously urged the committee to reject the plans, saying:"In the fulfilment of time, this site may be needed but not now. Not until public services and infrastructure have caught up with demand." The updated plans have also acknowledged concerns about access from a treacherous bend on a narrow rural road.
In the updated plans, the developers said:"The proposal will constitute an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable development that meets the requirements of site's allocation in the emerging CLLP.
