The Dancing With The Stars favourite opens up about winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, jetting off to Bali with his girlfriend Emilee and what it's like in dance rehearsals
Rhys McClenaghan and his girlfriend Emilee are teenage sweethearts having first dated in their formative years before rekindling their romance in their early 20s.
Rhys told RSVP Magazine: "Emilee and I have been together for nearly five years, but we also dated when we were younger, when we were 13 or 14, for a short period of time.The couple are not long back from a holiday in Bali together."It was a long trip, but it was always in my plans. I said I wanted to have a big long break after the Olympics.
"I’ll be based in Dublin for the duration of the show and the new house is up North. When the show finishes I’ll be moving into the property, which will be nice. After the dust settled and the hype died down, Rhys got to toast his success with his close family and friends. He said: "She’s absolutely amazing. I was on a very long holiday before Christmas and then it was straight into rehearsals when I got back."
