Officers as well as emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the early morning two-vehicle smash that took place at Barntown, Wexford at around 6:30am on Tuesday.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect delays as the road is currently closed and local diversions are in place. A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision involving two cars, which occurred at Barntown, Co. Wexford, this morning.” The spokesperson added that no further information was available with updates to be issued in due course.
