Ronan Keating has accused former Boyzone manager Louis Walsh of trying to 'ruin' his solo career in a new Sky documentary. Keating claims Walsh 'got it wrong' about his solo direction and didn't support his artistic ambitions.
Ronan Keating has claimed Louis Walsh "didn't give a f***" about his solo career ", saying he tried to "ruin" him. The former X Factor judge was the manager for Boyzone , and later Ronan's manager for a while when he went solo.
Louis said: "I had loads of ideas for him as a big middle of the road artist. He appeals to older women and stuff and there's nobody better. That was his market, that was his lane." But Ronan says Louis "got it wrong" about his solo career. Ronan says: "Things start to fall into place and you realise Louis isn't a great manager. I gave him multiple opportunities to fix the problems so I went and met him and I said it to his face."
But Ronan said his concerns always "fell on deaf ears", while Louis added: "I always told him the truth. You're a lucky f****r. This is great. Enjoy it."
