Consello , the global advisory and investing company founded by Tipperary businessman Declan Kelly , has appointed of former Munster and Irish rugby player and La Rochelle coach Ronan O’Gara to its team as a senior adviser.
The announcement follows the official Irish launch of Consello last week in Dublin in front of over 400 people from the world of business and sport and other leaders drawn from Ireland’s largest companies and organisations. Consello, which Mr Kelly started two and a half years ago with American football player Tom Brady, has three offices in the Republic – one each in Dublin and Belfast and one in the midwest. Mr O’Gara joins a team of senior advisers and partners at Consello that already includes former Tipperary hurling manager Liam Sheedy, former tennis player Serena Williams, basketball player Pau Gasol, former Manchester United and England captain Gary Neville and Irish golfer Paul McGinley.
