Rory McIlroy, the world number three golfer, has once again chosen to represent Ireland at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics .

He said: "I have always played under the Irish flag when competing on a national stage as a junior and felt no need to switch allegiances for the Games in Tokyo."
