Mr Martin says FF want to strengthen rent controls - but it’s “wrong and irresponsible” to make a promise on something he was advised was unconstitutional.He says it’s preferable to have social housing built by councils or approved groups.He says derelict or abandoned houses in rural areas can be brought back into the fold for use in housing.Mr Martin is asked how he can be sure if money won’t be going into the pockets of developers.Miriam says “you were right by their side”.
