RTÉ and the FAI have extended their partnership to ensure live coverage of the Irish women's national team's journey towards the 2027 World Cup, including the Nations League and qualifying matches.
RTÉ has reached an agreement with the Football Association of Ireland ( FAI ) to provide live coverage of the Ireland women's national football team for the next two years. Sean Kavanagh, FAI's Commercial Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the continued partnership, stating: 'RTÉ have shown incredible support over the last few years to help us grow our audience and fan base in tandem with the rise of women and girls’ football in Ireland. We are looking forward to continuing that partnership to inspire the next generation.'The inaugural Nations League match against Turkey will be broadcast on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.
