Following a six-year stint in the United States, former English rugby star Ben Foden is returning to the UK to take on significant coaching roles at Scarborough College and Scarborough RFC.
Former English rugby international Ben Foden is returning to the UK after six years in the US to take on a new role as Director of Rugby at Scarborough College and Head Coach for Scarborough RFC. Foden announced his move on Instagram, expressing his excitement to reconnect with family and re-immerse himself in the rugby world. \The athlete relocated to the US in 2018, where he met his current wife, Jackie.
The couple now resides in Connecticut with their two daughters, Farrah (4) and Olympia (1). \While the move has been in the works for some time, Foden's decision comes after his ex-wife, Una Healy, publicly expressed her hope that he would return to the UK. Healy, who was married to Foden from 2012 to 2018, shares two children, Aoife Belle (13) and Tadgh (10), with him. She has previously mentioned the challenges of maintaining regular contact with her children due to the distance between them. Until now, Aoife Belle and Tadgh have spent summer breaks in the US to see their father and alternated Christmas holidays. Healy has emphasized her desire for her children to have a strong relationship with their father and believes his presence in the UK would be beneficial for everyone involved. Earlier this year, Foden stated that he and Jackie had been discussing a move back to England, driven primarily by Jackie's desire to have their children educated in the UK. The couple, according to Foden, has been actively engaged in this conversation
